Real Accessibility Screen Reader Support

The page reader reads the content of the page out loud for visitors who may have difficulty reading it due to contrast, size or other visual issues. It uses the speech engine built into your browser and operating system - the text of the page is not sent to any external service. If you are having any trouble with the page reader, please follow the troubleshooting advice below.

Browser Compatibility

The page reader works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop, and in the default browsers of iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Please make sure your browser is up to date.

Is a Voice Installed for This Language?

The page reader buttons only appear when your device has a speech voice for the language of the page. To add a voice:

  • Windows: Settings > Time & language > Speech > Add voices
  • macOS: System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > System voice > Manage Voices
  • iPhone / iPad: Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices
  • Android: Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-speech output > Preferred engine settings > Install voice data

After adding a voice, restart your browser and reload the page.

Is Your JavaScript Enabled?

Your JavaScript is not enabled. Please follow the instructions below to turn on JavaScript.

Other Potential Issues

If using a different browser, adding a voice or turning on JavaScript does not solve your problems, please consider the following:

  1. Please ensure that your speakers are on and the volume is up
  2. Request support from the Real Accessibility plugin creators

  • אייפון / אייפד: הגדרות > נגישות > תוכן מוקרא > קולות
  • אנדרואיד: הגדרות > נגישות > פלט טקסט לדיבור > הגדרות המנוע המועדף > התקנת נתוני קול

אחרי הוספת הקול, הפעילו מחדש את הדפדפן וטענו את העמוד שוב.
